This five star review is for Marquila and Phyllis, exclusively. I recently had the pleasure of working with Marquila and Phyllis for a move-out cleaning, and their work ethic was absolutely unmatched. Their attention to detail was beyond impressive—every corner, crevice, and surface was left spotless. They worked with patience and care, ensuring the job was done thoroughly, working tirelessly to make sure they did the job the right way. Marquila and Phyllis were also incredibly kind and respectful throughout the process, making what was a stressful day feel much smoother. They even took the time to teach me some great cleaning tips for maintaining my space in the future. If it weren’t for the exceptional experience I had with them, I would not be recommending this service. Their dedication alone is the saving grace to the company.

I must mention a frustrating experience with the receptionist who scheduled my cleaning. Despite me making it abundantly clear that this was a deep clean for a move out, she insisted that an express 2-hour clean with 1 cleaner would be sufficient. I expressed that I had a hard wax spill on a floor I needed help removing and residual clean up from a garbage disposal issue, on top of an already thorough move out cleaning necessary. I knew from the get go this should have been a two person job and would absolutely need at least another hour. She assured me that a job like that would take less than 3 hours with two people and ultimately I chose Merry Maids over a different company offering a flat rate that was only $100 more than the 3 hour cleaning. This receptionist was incredibly misleading and downplayed my concerns. The job ultimately required 3 additional hours for which they tried charging me $128/hr which was completely unexpected. I was under the impression that because they did not finish in the 3 hours the receptionist assured me it would be completed in, it would not be charged. Wrong, they tried to charge me even though they did not fulfill the receptionist’s promise. I could have gone with another company that offered a lower flat rate, but the receptionist’s assurance made me believe this would be a quicker, more affordable option. While the cleaners themselves were incredible, the miscommunication from the front office was a major disappointment. I would recommend Marquila and Phyllis 1000/10 but my experience with the receptionist would not make me recommend Merry Maids.

North Phoenix Merry Maids cleaned our home for the first time today. Thank you Melissa and Jocelyn! You did a wonderful job! I've been burned by another well known company. I paid a high price for substandard work. Merry Maids of North Phoenix lived up to their promise to do a thorough job for what I assume is the going rate. (I have only one professional cleaning to compare them to in quite a few years. They were far and away the superior service). Thanks to Maria for making sure everything went so well! I love when I get to appreciate jobs well done... I will definitely be a regular customer 🙂

merry maids has quite a few good reviews online. so based off that I decided to use there services. Filled out the information they requested online and after a day or so I received a phone call to schedule a walkthrough through my home. which then she gave me accurate quote for first time deep clean and repeated weekly services. 1st one time fee for deep clean was $1,100 And after that once a week $299 per week. They said if you do a agreement that you will keep us on for 6 months. We will discount $400.00 off the 1st deep clean service at that I said sure we were planning to keep them on board for the long run then she said but if you decide to cancel before the 6 months we will charge your card the $400 for not keeping your agreement. after they did 5 repeated cleanings to my home. I received a call notify me that they needed to increase the weekly payment by $144.00 more which would bring my total to $443.00 a week. they mentioned that their employees were taking way too long to clean my home and due to that that they needed to charge me more money and that if I wasn't OK with the new price then I can go ahead and cancel my service and that they would just charge me the additional $400! to my credit card, for not keeping my agreement. I said but I'm not canceling my agreement you’re forcing me to cancel and the Lady said it works both ways if we cancel or you cancel! don't hire these Marry Clowns to clean your home. they don't honor their own agreement and if they can get more money out of you they will.

We have been using Merry Maids for several months now, and are very happy. The women are always efficient, thorough, friendly, couldn't ask for more. Also, the office staff are easy to deal with. I like that they do not use strong chemicals. Everything is just fresh smelling when they are finished.
