DO NOT, under any circumstances, allow Bill Boege, Propellerhead Aviation or anyone affiliated with this awful organization near your aircraft. Had my tanks resealed a few years ago and within a year began leaking again. William E. Boege, III, makes promises he cannot keep and, after taking 300% longer than quoted to complete my aircraft, refuses to perform warranty work on the shoddy job he did on my aircraft. Buyer Beware! Do not use this disreputable organization or Bill Boege for anything!

Absolutely my first recommendation for a flight school. I had been getting dragged along through my PPL at another school for a few months, and after being fed up with that decided to change schools. Everyone at this school, especially Kelly, was extremely helpful and involved in my training and tried their best to get me finished as fast as possible to move on to my next rating. There is constantly someone there to help with anything you need help with, and they are all extremely passionate about not only flying the planes but helping people achieve their goals. Get a good solid flight schedule for a couple of months and then the flight schools would either change my flight instructor or I'd get frustrated for being dragged out too long to finish. I rented a 172 while visiting central Florida from out of town, and had a nice flight to Venice for lunch. They were great during scheduling, and graciously allowed me to take my time with the airplane for almost a full day outing. I chose to rent from Propellorhead because I knew a reputable maintenance shop would keep good care of their airframe & engine. The airplane was basic but safe - it could stand to have an avionics upgrade for XC flying, but the engine cranked easily and ran strong. They required a brief (0.8 hobbs) checkout flight with a CFI, who was fair and informative. Overall, the experience was pleasant and as expected, and I would definitely recommend Propellerhead to pilots visiting the area.
