Huge shoutout to Ramon and Isiah. I first went for a wheel alignment. I was quoted the same price via phone which I appreciate. Isiah was nice and provided insight. I google how long a wheel alignment may take and mine was done in 20 minutes I truly appreciate that!!!! Thank you so much Ramon for your amazing customer service and attentiveness. I had to come for a car battery. He took his time providing me information and knowledge on how to understand a replacement and warning signs. I was able to leave same day with a replacement. I am grateful for the service!!! You saved the day!!!!

As a local reviewer this place is a joke. If you are looking for serious work done on your car and I would recommend that you do not step a single foot in this place. No sense of organization and clearly no sense of accountability. 4 trips and still can't get then out of my life. I would 100% give my business to somewhere else.

Walked in to have 2 tires checked & repaired. Both employees, especially Isaiah, were extremely helpful & friendly. They were able to patch both tires without significant wait time for an extremely reasonable price. Definitely recommend.

On 2024-02-20 Mavis damaged my new wheel - they are paying for a new wheel, but this inconvenience is still costing time and gas. I'll be looking for a new tire dealer.

UPDATE Mike Medina the regional Manager for this location insisted I take the replacement wheel to one of their locations to have the tire swapped from the damaged wheel to the replacement wheel. Below is my review of the next transaction:

Extremely Disappointed with Mavis Discount Tire's Service and Handling of Damages

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received at Mavis Discount Tire. I brought a new wheel, still in the manufacturer's box, purchased from Tire Rack, to replace a wheel that Mavis had previously damaged. Unfortunately, Mavis damaged the new wheel as well. Unlike the previous incident where they replaced the damaged wheel, this time the new regional manger (Samantha) only offered to repair it.

Additionally, when Mavis removed my winter wheels and tires from my car, they damaged all four winter wheels. Despite my request for them to replace the new wheel and repair the winter wheels, they refused to take any responsibility for damages to the winter wheels and are only willing to repair the brand new wheel.

I also requested to speak with Samantha’s director (Denesh), but my request was denied. This lack of accountability and refusal to address the issues has left me with no choice but to pursue a small claims case to seek reasonable compensation for the damages and the unnecessary time I have spent trying to resolve these issues.

I strongly advise others to reconsider using Mavis Discount Tire for their automotive needs, as my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.

Great experience. I was able to secure a same day appointment as a transfer from another Midas location. The S. Ozone park location had my Tesla recommended tires in stock. I was worried and the tech on site made sure that he showed me the T2 on the tires. The waiting room was clean and I didn’t have to wait long. My 4 tires were installed in under an hour. All of the workers were helpful and pleasant. Great experience especially since I was leery about going outside of Tesla to get my tires. Stress relieved and I’m extremely pleased.
