Do not recommend. Rex staff were hired to do a steam clean but started touching personal belongings, opening drawers, lifting the stove top, knocking things over (I had to tell her to stop multiple times and to focus just on carpets but she would not listen) and going into areas and then reporting back to rex to tell him what else needed cleaning (even though the rest of the clean was not done yet and was none of their business), he texted me during the service to tell me that he was told my shower windows were dirty and needed a clean and if I want them to do it, I of course said no, only a steam clean was needed. After the service I addressed my concerns with how unprofessional the experience was, and his responses were also very unprofessional telling me I should have had an empty apartment to avoid issues. Since when do apartments need to be empty for a steam clean? My lease had not ended and I wanted clean carpets. Even though I put everything out of the way, in a separate area which they should not have accessed.

Rex quoted me a premium price for a one bedroom apartment, then added an additional 50% on top when he realised he had to actually clean a couple of things. I had to hand my keys back to my agent in the couple of days after and it felt like he took advantage of that. He was also very pushy in making me book the clean, even though he didn’t answer all my initial questions and also hassled me to come a day earlier, even though we were still in the process of moving out.

Despite being a preferred cleaner, my agent was not happy with the final clean and the add ons for additional cleaning either. Apparently this has become more of a problem with Rex’s increased additional charges with his prices becoming more and more expensive over time.
Stains that were barely noticeable were problematic after the steam clean and there were several areas that were not addressed, even though I was charged extra for them.

To my knowledge, he had to come back to address the spots he did not clean.

I would NOT recommend.
