We've been very impressed with Broadways communication, through vetting process and overall concern for their customer satisfaction. Keep up the great work ya'll! A word of warning. I've done 5 jobs for Broadway over the last few years, without any significant issues. They did want a bunch of verbage added to my certificate of insurance, which I did. My last job for them was last year. They just sent me a new work order, and on that work order is a new requirement that all invoices MUST be submitted on their new system Umbrava. If you just email them in (like I've done for years) they "will not be processed for payment".
Well, I looked into Umbrava, and their privacy policy. It appears to me that using Umbrava allows them access to all kinds of personal information, and everything on your computer, which it shares (and undoubtedly sells) with third parties. I'm not doing that. I'm not wanted by the FBI or anything. But I've been a reliable company for 24 years, and I'm not going to use some "we collect all your info" system, just to submit an invoice.
I'm no expert on these things. But all that data collection seems a little unnecessary. I emailed Broadway to see if they would still accept an emailed invoice. The answer was "You are already and active vendor and it shows you have been trained in Umbrava,
If you are already trained we cant accept emailed invoices they must be uploaded to Umbrava."
Well, I've never been "trained" in Umbrava, and I'm certainly not giving some maintenance company access to my computer, browser history, personal information, etc. . So it looks like we've both drawn a line in the sand, and I won't be working for them any more.

I can only speak of my experiences with the (2) Account Coordinators that I have done business with over the past two years, Mike Najarro & Hayley DeMott. They have been upfront, plain speaking & have followed through with their commitments. Although recently, I have also been working with Tyler Molleturo & Vivene Mullings, who are continuing with this precedent.
As for payment reliability, we have found that if we provide all of the required documents in a timely fashion, most payments will be made per the scheduled date. Broadway is price sensitive, and attempts to stretch the value of a dollar, but aren't we all.
Ronny Sharp, one of the Broadway supervisors, has done a great job in creating an educated, responsive unit with these folks. While I imagine his job is to ultimately watch the bottom line and be an advocate for the end users, he is not unreasonable when it comes to working through various stages of projects.
I hope that my dealings with them continues in the above fashion, and that both of our companies can assist each other & "our" customers in a fair, professional manner.

They don’t pay the contractors that they partner with. They don’t communicate effectively & the women on the phone are extremely rude, condescending, & patronizing. We’re waiting on MULTIPLE payments from January & February. They say that they’re net 30/net 45 but the math isn’t adding up…it’s almost May with no payment! Think twice before becoming a vendor for this company, they do not value you. They wouldn’t be able to provide a service without the vendors that they partner with. Shameful

As a facility maintenance technician, I must warn all the rest of you that Broadway calls. Their catch is they will pay you the first couple via credit card if you agree to net 30.
However, I will be the first to tell you we have not been paid the first time via check, and some of the jobs were done back the beginning of January 2023. We are now into March and have not seen a penny from them. Then they get upset when they call wanting you to go on a job and you tell them that you MUST get payment up-to-date first. The day and age that we live in nobody can work for free! These people on the phone calling you get their paycheck regularly. They do not understand what it’s like when you just don’t get paid, so beware when they called and they try to be all nice to you.. They will promise you the company is not like every other facility maintenance.. Give it a month or two and you will see then they’ll stop calling as much when they start getting behind on payments.

As a plumber dealing with facilities maintenance company can be challenging especially on site, but Broadway national has been amazing. We are able to be in direct contact while on site with the person who created the work order which is very efficient. Dealing with the Broadway National team, Jakkie, Jessica, Mary, Kevin and Billy, just to name a few, has been a breathe of fresh air. We hope to continue to grow in our business relationship.
