I have worked with National Facilities Direct for quite a while now, and over the years and they've never let me down. As far as payment being prompt. Getting me to the job sites, I really enjoy working for this company. It's fun running around town fixing commercial buildings. I appreciate all the work they've given me, and it's nice to see store managers happy when I when I'm done.

I have been working with NFD for the past couple years and they have been pretty good to me. Don't mean to be the paragraph guy but figured I would help other contractors to understand. When I first started working for them it was a little shaky, until we built trust and respect for each other, now its smooth sailing. I get on average 10 sometimes 30-40 calls a week from them. I work with Anton, and Angelo the most and they value and respect my work . I see some negative comments on here from other contractors, and sounds like misunderstandings to me. They always compromise with me on the price and if they cant offer as much for a job as I am asking they make it up to me on the next one. When NFD gets work orders, customer have called in for specific request and as the contractor being sent out there you have to only complete what is on the work order. If the customer wants more, then what they requested on the work order, that's great but they have to request it by placing another work order. Each work order has a set price based on what the customer is requesting. At first I didn't understand the way it worked either and being who I am I wanted to go above and beyond for the customers and give them everything they wanted/asking for but if you do extra work without the customer placing a work order request then NFD nor you will be paid for it. At first I felt like they were undervaluing my work and not wanting to offer me what my work was worth, but once I understood the way the work orders work. It has made a lot more sense and I get in, get the work done, and if the customer wants more things completed, I just explain I would love to help them but they have to put in another work order and we'll be right back out to complete it. As for being paid, the contractors get paid when the customers payment has went through, sometimes its a process. Sometimes I get paid the same day I complete the job sometimes it maybe a week later but they have always paid me. I hope this info helps contractors to understand. But I recommend effectively communicating about expectations for each job and the set price. They have high expectations for the services that the contractors are providing to their customers, and require videos, pictures and receipts for every project. I run a small HVAC and Handyman business and am grateful for all the work they have brought me. I recently became a certified Trane dealer so I am hoping to soon be getting calls for all their HVAC system installations!!

I was contacted by this company and was told that the roof on a building they managed was leaking. They needed someone to fix it asap, because it was in there computer room. I did that and found issues with the roof. I was told to take pictures and send them to him along with my price. After he received the pictures, he told me to go ahead and make the repairs and he would pay me when I got done. So I did. After getting done he then told me I needed to send him pictures showing that the job was done. So I did. Then he asked me if I guaranteed my work. I told him that I would guarantee it for a year. So he said he would call the manager of the building and make sure that it was not leaking. Although it wasn't raining she told him that it was still dripping. I explained that the insulation in the attic was still wet and that it needed a couple of days to dry out. 2 days later he called back and said that it was still leaking and that it was even worse than before. That's impossible I told him because it hadn't rain any since then. So I go back up there. At this point the store manager informs me that their Hot water heater was in the attic and that they had issues with it before. So I get a step ladder and sure enough the pan around it was full and it was just running over the edge. So I called him back and explained it to him. He said that he needed me to take pictures of it and send them to him and wanted to know if I could fix it. I told him no that I was not a licensed plumber and that I could get in serious trouble for it. At this time he informs me that he wouldn't be able to pay me because I didn't fix the initial problem. I explained that I fixed the problem on the roof that he saw in the pictures and authorized me to fix. Not to mention I had to make several trips there to take pictures for him and I had money in material to fix it. He then started trying to get me to come down on the price we agreed to. Which I came down 75 bucks hoping that he would send me the money on cash app like we agreed to in the beginning. Instead he once again agreed to pay me but this time he told me he would mail me a check. He said I already have your address. I asked him if he could just send it to me via cash app and I ve not been able to get a response from him since. I have been in business for 52 years. My son now runs it and I do these little side jobs to be able to pay my bills because I draw SSI and am limited to how much I can make. So spending money on cash app supplies on top of not getting paid has gotten me in a bind. So I highly recommend not to do any work for this business

Awesome customer service, and they have professional, reliable, and knowledgeable maintenance guys! Everytime we have had an issue with one our properties we call Angelo and he gets a guy out within a couple hours to fix any issue from HVAC , and electrical to plumbing and handyman jobs. This company is a one stop shop to get any kind of technician you need for any type of project. Takes the headach of managing properties and hiring maintenance guys away for business/property owners of every kind. I recommend this company for all your property management needs!

One star is over rated for them!
I am a contractor that did maintenance work thru national facilities direct. They are not knowledgeable about the work they send to us and offer no support. The dispatchers lie to get you to do a job and then after it's done they want to renegotiate price. They don't stick to there contract or deals made per job. They still owe money to me and refuse to pay. I have been put in bad situations because of there lying and NOT being upfront. The upper management allows this to go on and backs the dispatchers on these bad business decisions. I will no longer do any jobs thru this company they can't be trusted. I recommend if your a contractor and checking them out here don't work with them they will screw you every chance they get.
National facilities direct is the worst maintenance company I have worked with. There customers are not important to them they don't care as long as the job can be patched dirt cheap . They won't pay for any kind of quality work they want bubble gum slapped on it for 50 cents then screw you at the end.
I hope this helps someone out there considering getting jobs through national facilities direct be very careful. The other reviews on here I believe are fake. They tried to get me to give them a good review about 6 months ago.
