Servpro did an amazing job for me at a really busy time for them. Omar was my contact who coordinated the job. Every component of the process happened on time with great care given to being thorough & complete. It was Felipe & Scott who made it happen. Their efforts in doing an outstanding job while keeping the area clean is greatly appreciated. When I need these services again, it will be the people at Servpro who get the call!

The ServPro team was very capable in the process and the results were solid. They found, cleared, and cleaned all the water-damaged and moldy items and areas without damaging anything else. They did an exceptionally capable job of isolating the damaged area of my kitchen from the rest of my home, constructing multiple floor to ceiling plastic barriers. They worked very quickly and made fast progress getting through a real mess. The chemicals they used to clean and kill the significant amount of mold were very effective and didn’t leave any residue or smell. Most impressive was their cooperative attitude about and performance in working in my home. They made it clear that my satisfaction was paramount and worked well with me and were flexible at finding the best way to clear the damage while respecting my property and the undamaged areas.Their team leader and two other staff in leadership roles were top notch. The lead happily took calls well after work hours and was always helpful. I’m quite happy about the results and their work process, skills and professionalism. Servpro obviously does a good job of recruiting, training, and managing quality people.

Unethical business practices. On Friday late morning, the morning after Helene pushed 2 feet of water into the first floor, Sal stopped by a house on Lagoon Drive. I was cleaning out the garage from the water. He introduced himself and asked if we needed help. I told him that was up to the lady in charge. (She was a very upset 85 year old woman.) He gave his pitch, and she told him that she would call if we needed help. He said great, then asked of she could just sign this piece of paper - it was an Assignment of Benefits! She said "No" and he was asked to leave the house. He did, then less than 1 minute later, he walked back into the house and found her, again asking for her to sign the paper. He was told to leave the property immediately, and he said ok, but he needed her to sign this. he was then told that if he did not leave her house that we would call the sheriff. He said "Go Ahead. I am not doing anything wrong."

I called CCSO on the speaker, and as soon as he heard them answer, he left. I made my report, including the license plate of the car.

I then called the office and explained what happened. The two people I spoke with were nice enough, but when the manager called me back he could care less about the poor business ethics. He said he would talk to Sal and make sure he did not came back to the house.

The practice of getting someone in distress to sign a Assignment of Benefits without actually setting up any service should be illegal, but at best is totally unethical. I would not trust this company.

Your response does not address the the issue and is not very honest.

She NEVER committed in any way to engage ServPro of North Naples, so there was NO reason for her to sign an Assignment of Benefits. Do you normally have prospects give away any insurance money they would receive BEFORE giving at least an estimate for what services would be rendered?

Your employee entered her house and went through a partially closed door to come back and demand she sign this form. This was AFTER he was instructed to leave the property.

Your employee only left the premises AFTER I had CCSO on speaker. He was asked to leave repeatedly and refused. This happened at 11:11AM to phone number 239-252-9300. I am willing to bet that if you call them this can be verified. Also, I will see if I can get the video from the Wyse camera if it was working, and put it up on YouTube then link it here.

So, you are saying that is was OK for Sal to come into the interior of a house, through a partially closed door, that he was told to vacate, in order to get someone to sign a form that entitled your company to all of the insurance payout without informing the person what they were actually signing and not having been engaged for any service at all?

That does not sound like a very reputable business practice to me.
